These are the weekly announcements for November 6, 2022:
- Senior fees are now $85 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses.
- Thursday, November 10, 2022, is a 12:00 pm Early Release Day.
- Friday, November 11, 2022, there will be no school in observance of Veterans Day.
- The 2022 RHS Winter Formal will be held on Friday, December 2, in the RHS cafeteria from 7-10. Tickets go on sale today. Please see Mr. Hollis in room 012 before 1:00 pm to pay. Tickets are $10 per person. Please bring cash (correct change only) or check. Checks should be made out to Riverside High School. The last day to buy tickets is Wednesday, November 30. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Hollis.
- If you are interested in Joining the Fire Academy Program or would like to learn more information about becoming a Firefighter or EMT, please contact Mr. Smith in guidance ss09169@martincc.edu or sign up for one of his MCC registration Knight Lunches.
- Senior superlative nominations are now being accepted through the Google Form posted in the Senior Class Google Classroom. Nomination ends on Wednesday November 9.
- Registration for the November 28th-December 12th driver education classes will take place at Riverside High School and South Creek High School. Class time will be from 3:30-6:30. Registration at South Creek High School will take place November 15th and 16th from 3:30-4:15 in the cafeteria. Registration at Riverside High School will take place November 16th and 17th from 3:30-4:15 in the auditorium lobby. The cost of driver education is 65 dollars. Students need to register at the school they plan to take the class at. Students need to be 14.5 years of age to take the classroom portion of driver education. Students must also attend school in Martin County to register for the class. Homeschool students are eligible to register for the class as long as they reside in Martin County.
