- All of this week's assignments will be due by midnight on October 4th. This week, students will only have assignments on Monday and Tuesday.  This Wednesday and next Wednesday, students will not have any live sessions or new work.  This will be a day for them to "catch up" on any work they have not done.
- Thursday and Friday this week are teacher workdays.  We will hold virtual parent conferences on these days.  Your child's teacher should have contacted you to schedule a time for a conference.  If you would like a conference and have not been contacted, please call your child's teacher.
-  Martin County school continues to provide no cost breakfast and lunch to any child under the age of 18.  You may pick-up lunch and breakfast for the next day between 11 and 12:30 pm. This week, we will not have meal pick-up on either Thursday or Friday since these are teacher workdays.

- Kindergarten parents are reminded that all students entering Kindergarten must have a completed Health Assessment and copy of their immunizations on file at the school.  This information must be submitted by Oct. 31st. State law requires that any Kindergarten student that is missing this information after Oct. 31st is not allowed to attend school until this information is provided. In addition, any student in grades 1-5 that is new to a North Carolina school is also required to have this same information on file at school.
- A copy of the MCS Dress Code Policy and the student supply lists are posted on the RES School web page.  Please note that the board has not yet approved a policy for masks; however, the draft policy would allow K-5 students to wear masks with patterns.  More information regarding masks will be distributed as soon as a board policy is approved.
- Please do not hesitate to contact the school or your child's teacher if you have questions or concerns.  Our staff does work from school each day.  Our office hours are Monday - Friday from 8am to 4pm.
-Lastly, just as a reminder, it is very important that students watch the posted instructional videos, complete their assignments in the correct order, and participate in live google meets with the teacher as much as possible.  Unlike the spring, grades are being recorded for assignments and completion of assignments is being used to determine attendance in the virtual classrooms.
