Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from JES:
The JES main office will remain closed to the general public for the week of May 18th. The office hours will be 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. If you need to meet with anyone in the main office, please call to make an appointment.
North Carolina has been approved by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to begin a new program that will help families who have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pandemic-Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) Program will help families purchase food for their children. Please see the JES and MCS website for more information.
JES have over 130 teaching videos on our YouTube page. Videos are being updated and added daily. Please see our website for the link to our YouTube page.
Student packet pickup/drop-off will be on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. It will be from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. Please work with us on this schedule. This gives us time to clean and sanitize the drop-off area between days. Thank you in advance for your help.
Students and parents are encouraged to keep working on your assignments each week. Teachers are giving timely feedback to work submitted. The work completed will assist in promotion/retention and student placement for the 2020-2021 school year. If you have any questions, contact your teacher or JES.
This is a reminder that on Monday May 25th MCS will be closed in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. No school work for children.
Meal pickup and distribution will follow the same schedule for the week of May 18th.
