Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from JES:
Jamesville Elementary School will host a Storybook Character Parade on Monday March 2nd at 9:30 am. Students have the opportunity to dress up as their favorite storybook character. They need to bring their book for the parade, also. Parents and family members are welcome to come and watch.
The JES Book Fair begins on Monday March 2nd and concludes on Friday March 6th. It will take place in the JES Media Center. It will take place from 7:45 am to 2:30 pm each day. Please come out and purchase a book and support JES.
Severe Weather Preparedness Week is March 1st through March 7th. This is the week that schools and other governmental agencies review their severe weather plans and practice their severe weather drill. JES and MCS will practice its tornado drill this week.
The 4th six weeks ends on Friday March 6th. Please make sure that you are checking your child’s grades each week in the parent portal located in PowerSchool.
The annual Martin County Battle of Books competition will take place on Thursday March 5th at 9:00 am. It will take place in the Martin County Auditorium on the RHS campus at 9:00 am. Come out and support JES.
Friday March 6th is a 1:00 pm early release day for JES and MCS. Teachers will be working on finalizing grades.
