Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from Jamesville Elementary School:
Parents, please remember when turning in doctors notes the only dates that will be excused are those listed on the note. If your child misses more days due to that illness, an additional note from the doctor or a handwritten note by you must be sent to the school in order to excuse the days. Just as a reminder, parent notes may only be accepted up to 3 days after the absence, so send all notes with your child on the day they return to school.
JES will be hosting February Friends on Friday February 28th at 9:30 am in the NERSBA auditorium. Please contact Mrs. Johnson for more details.
Parents please refer to our website to the new lunch start times. We have moved each group forward 5 minutes to accommodate our new learning and enrichment program. Thank you in advance for your support.
Mathcounts practice will be Monday February 24th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Battle of the Books practice will be Tuesday February 25th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The career fair scheduled for this past Friday was cancelled due to weather. As soon as the event is rescheduled. We will make that announcement ASAP.
Please take time to read to and/or read with your children at least 20 minutes each day. It has a big impact on their success in school.
Please keep up with your child’s grades by checking your Parent Portal each week. If you have any questions, please contact your teachers.
Reminder - The car line up does not begin on campus until 2:30 pm each day. This will allow for the flow of traffic and visitors and keep our campus safe.
