Good evening, The following are the weekly announcements from JES:
Mathcounts practice is Monday February 3rd at 3:00 pm.
Battle of the Books Practice is Tuesday February 4th at 3:00 pm.
We have an advisory board meeting on Thursday February 6th at 6:00 pm on the JES campus.
We have a PTA meeting on Thursday February 6th at 7:00 pm on the JES campus.
JES will have a brief lockdown drill practice this week. Thank you in advance for your support as we continue to strive to make your children as safe as possible.
JES will be participating in state mandated student assessments called Check-ins the week of February 10th. Please encourage your children to give it their best efforts. These assessments will determine the students academic progress just after the halfway point of the school year. Thank you for your support.
This is a reminder of the MCS dress code policy points of emphasis. Students are not to wear coats or jackets with a hood once they enter the building. Students are to wear the uniform style pants - No yoga pants, sweatpants or stretch pants. Students must wear a collared uniform polo shirt under their JES sweatshirt. Thank you in advance for your help.
Please take time to read to or with your children 20 minutes each night. This will help your children more than you realize.
