Good evening, This is a reminder announcement from JES:
Happy New Year and Welcome Back! JES and MCS resumes on with a regular schedule on Monday January 6, 2020. School will begin promptly on time at 7:50 am.
MCS has scheduled a Mandatory Staff Development for elementary teaching staff. Due to the staff development and travel time needed for JES staff, we will release early on January 15th. The school day will end at 2:30 pm. This means that everything will move up 30 minutes. Afternoon cut-off time will move up to 2:00 pm. The morning start time for JES will remain the same at 7:50 am. School attendance is very important to the staff of JES. JES is setting up a reward system for students achieving perfect attendance benchmarks For the attendance it will be by the month. At the end of January, students will earn a homework pass for perfect attendance. This means students attend school from 7:50am -3:00pm. Only excused absences will be with actual medical notes. Not parent notes. Each month students will have the opportunity to reset to earn perfect attendance awards. Students that maintain consecutive months of perfect attendance will earn larger awards.
