Good evening, The following is a very important Lockdown Drill announcement from Jamesville Elementary School:

The safety and well being of the students and staff is the number one priority of the administration of Jamesville Elementary School and Martin County Schools.

This letter is to inform you of a scheduled practice drill.  The week of November 11, 2019 Jamesville Elementary School will be participating in a lockdown drill on our campus.  This drill will be conducted by the administration of Jamesville Elementary School, Martin County Schools district office, and the Martin County Sheriff's Office.

The success of this drill depends heavily on the cooperation of the students, parents and the Jamesville Elementary community.  We strongly encourage parents to reinforce the importance of positive student participation in this drill. This will allow us to determine any changes necessary to properly protect our students and staff.

Please know that classroom instruction is a top priority at Jamesville Elementary School.  The lockdown drill will be conducted in a timely manner. As with all drills (fire, tornado, etc.) students will be unavailable for parent contact and check out until the conclusion.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at Jamesville Elementary School, (252)792-8304.

Once again, Thank you for supporting JES.  Home of the Happy Herringbones!
